US Military Addresses
You may wish to define the country subdivision codes that represent United States of America (USA) military addresses, to facilitate US-based sales.
These subdivisions are as follows:
- Armed Forces America (US-AA)
- Armed Forces Europe (US-AE)
- Armed Forces Pacific (US-AP)
These subdivisions need to be configured, the same as any other State in the USA.
Marketplaces Settings
You need to create the subdivision and enable tax for it. You can use the country_subdivisions.<New_Key>.taxation.is_enabled
setting to do so. Where <New_Key>
is the subdivision. For example, country_subdivisions.US-AA.taxation.is_enabled
.
You may also need other settings, depending on your needs. See Marketplace Settings Reference Guide.
Seller Settings
You also need to create the same subdivision in your sellers' settings and enable tax for it. You can use the country_subdivisions.<New_Key>.taxation.is_enabled
setting to do so. Where <New_Key>
is the subdivision. For example, country_subdivisions.US-AA.taxation.is_enabled
.
You may also need other settings, depending on your needs. See Seller Settings Reference Guide.
