Returned Tax Information
The service returns information about tax and liability in the API responses. These responses can be individualized for different taxes like VAT or SUT. The information can also vary depending on your settings.
No tax information is generated for certain regions and countries. For more information, see Countries where No Tax Information is Returned.
If the tax_amount field is 0, this indicates that no tax information has been returned by the service. This can mean that the country is not supported or that the service has been configured to not generate tax information in this circumstance.
